Introduction Start

The story of Chaudandigadhi Municipality is not simple.

This municipality was formed on 27th Falgun 2073 BS. It was given a new form by merging Beltar Basaha, Chaudandi, Siddhipur, Hadiya and Sundarpur. It has acquired a large administrative size in Udayapur district.

According to the 2011 census, it had a population of 48,574. 10,519 families had formed local settlements. This has made the community life more diverse and vibrant.

Belka Municipality lies to the east, Triyuga to the west, Khotang and Bhojpur districts to the north, and Sunsari district to the south. This has placed the city at the confluence of both the hills and the Terai.
