Woman pedestrian hit by motorcycle on Satdhare road. General
Incident time and place
Bhadra 7, around 4 pm. Chaudandigadhi-6, Satdhare. Initial information is that a local woman pedestrian was hit by a motorcycle near the road section of Madan Bhandari Highway. The weather was clear. But turn and lane discipline seem to have been an important factor.
Vehicle and driver identification
The motorcycle with registration number Pra-1-05-002 Pa 1737 was going from east to west. The driver is Navdeep Shrestha, 24, of Ilam. He has come in coordination with the Area Police Office Beltar. A technical examination of the documents and the vehicle is underway.
Victim health update
The injured, 36-year-old Puja Katwal, has suffered an injury to her left leg. Primary treatment was given at the Municipal Hospital Beltar. She was sent to Chaudandiga Hospital for X-ray as per medical recommendation. According to the doctor, the injury is in the general category, and there is a high possibility that rest at home and monitoring will be sufficient.
